TEDtalks mislabled as Creative Commons?
The TED Talks here are listed as Creative Commons on the IA under 'Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs license.'
But when I've contacted TED Talks via their website they say:
Thanks for reaching out. Broadcasting TED Talks and using the brand on air requires a license. Unfortunately, at this time we are not extending any PEG licenses.'
So what is it? We are a local PEG community access television station that cablecasts programming. We're a non-profit (non-commercial), wouldn't make a derivative copy of the video and we would use attribution but they say 'no.' I've asked them twice, both times with the same answer.
So what's the deal with TED Talks?
